Susan Bruce and her husband, Robert, planted the Wily Trout Vineyard in 1998 on the north-east facing slopes of their Hall property.

Enjoying climatic conditions similar to both the French region of Bordeaux and South Australia’s Coonawarra, the vineyard has produced some fine quality grapes, crafted by the Canberra district’s best wine makers into wines that compliment the Poachers Pantry range of specialty smoked goods. The Wily Trout Vineyard is just one of the many wonderful Canberra wineries producing quality cool climate wine.
