Experience the best of the Canberra Region at Poachers’ 100 Mile Dinner.
From the Yass Valley to Hilltops and down to the south coast, each dish will take you on a food journey across the Canberra Region. Our Chef, Jennier Tressler has selected some of the finest seasonal produce on offer within 100 mile radius of Poachers.
This local four course dinner menu is perfectly paired with Poachers Vineyard wines, grown on the hills that surround the restaurant.
$145 includes optional wine pairing. $95 four course menu.

Saturday 3 June, 6.30pm at Poachers’ Smokehouse Restaurant.

The Farm Shop is open from 10:30AM, 7 days for your Christmas order collections up to & including 24 December. We will be taking a short break from Christmas Day and will reopen on 2 January 2024 for smokehouse platters & wine tastings. 🎄

𝑷𝒐𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆: A Classic Marmalade Glazed Ham inspired by @donna.hay. Enjoy with our Poachers Vineyard Pinot Noir. 𝗜𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 + 2 cups orange marmalade + 1/2 cup honey + 1 cup orange juice + 1 whole Poachers leg ham (9-10kg) + cloves for studding 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱 1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the marmalade, honey and orange juice in a saucepan over high heat and whisk to combine. Bring to the boil and cook for 5–7 minutes or until thickened slightly. Set aside to cool slightly.  2. Using a small, sharp knife, score the ham fat in a diamond pattern and cover the hock with aluminium foil.  3. Place the ham on a lightly greased wire rack in a baking dish lined with non-stick baking paper. Push a clove into each diamond and brush with the glaze. Cook for 90-110 minutes, brushing with the glaze every 10 minutes, or until the ham is golden and caramelised. + To remove the skin, use a sharp knife to score the skin around the hock, then use your fingers to gently remove the skin from the ham. Trim any excess fat. + For a half leg ham (4-6kg), halve the ingredients & reduce cooking time.
