A Poachers country wedding…simply perfect.

 

Our next Wedding Open Night is on Thursday 16 March 2023.
See Poachers all dressed up for a wedding, meet some of our excellent vendors and try our wedding menu!

Starting at 6PM, arrive for complimentary Poachers Vineyard sparkling and canapes, tour Poachers’ key ceremony and reception spaces; the Homestead Lawn, the Smokehouse Restaurant, the Kitchen Garden and the Marquee, and chat with a range of Canberra’s wedding businesses.

At 7:30PM enjoy a three course dinner in the Smokehouse Restaurant.

There are two types of tickets:

Tour of Poachers with complimentary wine and canapes (free). Book your ticket here.

Tour & dinner: $85pp for 3 course menu

The dinner menu can be viewed here. ย Please note any dietary requirements at the time of booking. All dietary requirements can be catered for with notice.

A chef by trade and a member of the family, Mike worked with Susan & Robert Bruce to establish Poachers smoked meats back in 1991. Over the last few decades Mike has worked in product development for large scale bakery manufacturers including Big Sister Foods, established fine dining restaurants in both the UK & Australia - French restaurant The Fat Goose in Bungendore followed by his family business of 14 years, the Fat Goose Cafe & Bakery on the NSW Central Coast. Mike returns to Poachers, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience and a passion for fine food.

We launched our new spring a la carte menu, created by Chef Adam Wilson and perfect for sharing. Wedding season began, we held our annual spring wedding open night and last week provided the beautiful garden backdrop, food and wine for @dope.elope ๐Ÿ’ Christmas preorders were launched and can be ordered through our online Christmas shop (link in bio). Our traditionally cured & smoked meats won several gold, silver & bronze awards as the Sydney & Melbourne Fine Food Awards & Australian Charcuterie Excellence Awards. ๐Ÿฅ‡ And the buds have burst in the Poachers Vineyard, signalling the beginning of vintage 2025. ๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿผโ€๐ŸŒพ
